No matter what. October 11 { Mamoru san & Whale Watching | Part I }
Mamoru san is a Japanese sir, who'd have been in AU for around 3 months, for learning JAPANESE!!!
... Actually, it was a course of "teaching foreigner Japanese", thus he was learning Japanese in order to teach others.
Then I became his first student and of course the smartest one~ lol. Oh, he prabably would say, no, not really, because you've known some of the basic, and you're from China, which made it even much easier.
Actually, the thing is, nothing would be easy, unless you learn it seriously.
Now he's come back to Japan already, but he's coming back again, soon. How come the ideas of coming into Australia and learning to teach Australian Japanese, is kind of mystery. His English is really good, I was even surprised. At least, as his age, based on his lastest English class was taken in high school. Anyway he came, and chose to live with homestay, which do improved his English a lot. However, it was still interesting to see him at homestay, because in common sense, homestay is more for students. Honestly.
It's hard to guess, how old Mamoru san is. He's so optimistical, with a strong spirit and will of learning, trying new things and helping others. Which made us an impression of always being nice and young. He is not tall and skinny, but very healthy. Back then he helped me out of doing a body fat measurement as practising, and his result was perfect. Somehow one's health can really be seen on one's face, just as how energetic he is. His daughter is about the same age as me. Once we used 3G video call to connect his daughter in Japan, and I was using my smattered Japanese saying Hi and bla bla. My first time using video call. Interesting. Before Mamoru san came back to Japan, he said he wants to go whale watching, and I said woow, I'd like to go withyou! It was on 12 August, 2007. Sunday. Nice weather, sunny, less wind. Which was perfect for whale watching, because even though, later on in the middle of the sea, would be very windy.
[- City outline. -][- The Opera House & Harbour Bridge are fading away -] ![]() October 05 { SYD's Friday nights, going out and got shocked-0- .. & more feels on SYD^3^ }Gonna show sth special... Haha. Might be just special to me..
Kay, till now, 2 months in Sydney, going out twice (or more??). [ Feel like too late to say the things. I've been ready to write them down like month and month ago>o<!! Anyway let me just get started!! ] Somehow, do not really like going out. However, though I said that, still had beautiful memories with friends hanging out in Suzhou's small pubs, with live music and yummy BBQs.. and the just-learned-pooling in the shortest month in China (after came back from Holland and before came here in AU). Time's just flying...Yeap, it depends. Sometime I do. While was living with Homestay. Couldn't remember who started the topic on the dinner table. I said not really, but Kon the host father said you should go! It's sociality, especially for you doing journalism! Which I didn't realized before. Most time were just happy with friends hanging around. Same as in Holland, and with School Festival. It was so much fun... Then suddenly said to the two guys, Filipe & Mamoru: gonna go with you two! Let's social...! (-__-|||) Therefore, with a Brazilian guy Filipe and a Japanese sir Mamoru. Friday night. We went to The Rocks, a German bar. Was quite surprised at how big and busy it was... Everything included, restaurant, dance floor, music, bars, chat sections, snacks... and people were just so different from daytimes!! From wearing business suits, walking in hurries and nervous. Totally changed at nights. Does that mean people were under pressures during the day? That was my surprise from the beginning. First week arrived in Sydney. It was so, unexpected -- Who told me that Australia people are lazy? Who told me that it's the most relaxed country in the world? People in Sydney city are just so rushed, everyone walking passed by me shortly, totally foot race, and I must even trot! However, things change. Just after few days, I was already able to walk with them. "Gotta school~!" or "Gotta work!". It's such a SMALL city... somehow. You can just walk through it, the City at least. In the begining what I thought was "Pitt Street is so long!!" but now... It's just few minutes walk!! Things Change. Fortunately it's changing to be better :), oh but I'm not saying walking fast is better.Sydney is turning to become New York, or whatever. Actually center Shanghai, or else are the same. The so-called "Big Cities". How big are they going to be? Ever enough?? Somehow I do like the atmosphere in the city. Nearby my school (or actually every school in Sydney) there are all Office buildings, what what, whatever Banks around. You can definetely NOT imagine... how busy it is, EVERY SINGLE DAY. Business suited people are eeeeeverywhere, and they all walked like snapshooting. Hurry. Busy. Fast-Food-Court-Eating. Money's travelling. No Stopping. Never Ending... But it's Okay~:). I'm here, I feel here, then I gonna work hard as here^^. That's what I really felt from the most begining arrived in Australia. Here, Sydney City, is full of opportunities. I could not tell why, but I really could see thy. For everyone, from every country, for any jobs, for any needs. There are chances everywhere. As long as you are looking for it. Chance would only chooses the person who's there ready for it. Here, in Australia, or at least Sydney. Something special I could feel. Something is waiting... and something I'm looking for ^^. But somehow Life is Life. No matter where you are, your life will always be yours and as wonderful as it always is. Talk about Going Out... LOL~ Just ask anyone on the street about going out experiences, the each answer given gonna be much more than mine.
Anyway, however, which is special and pricious to me. Same as talking about it.
